Tyler Goss is a student at the University of Tampa, as well as a dedicated local food connoisseur. He grew up in Vermont experiencing food from an early age. His mother was an avid baker and kept the house full of food since he was young. He began working in restaurants when he was 14 and has since worked in places ranging from fine dining french cuisine, all the way to TV cluttered sports bars. While working in restaurants he found a love for food and what it can do for people. He believes that food is one of the few gifts in life that we can truly experience, and one that we absolutely must. It is his goal to open restaurants of his own that focus on appreciating and respectfully expressing traditional foreign dishes, including Mexican food, Asian food and even classic American recipes. He goes to school for communications with a concentration in writing, and has written about food for many years but has just recently begun posting his work publicly. He hopes that this blog can serve as a medium through which you can learn about the places around Tampa that are worth your time(and money), and also act as a community for like minded foodies in the area.
