Jordan Ledyard
Junior, Advertising & Public Relations
One day, somebody asked me “If there was a movie entirely about your life, what song would play in the credits?” my answer, without blinking, thinking, or even taking a breath, Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys. Why? No matter how many times I’ve lost myself, I’ve always found my way back. No matter how many times I had fallen, I always got back up on my own two feet with no one’s hands but my own to pull me up. I have lived and learned through experience and found my own ways to escape real life and divulge my mind into a world that is far from my own and want others to use my coping mechanisms in their own unique ways and find the perfect thing for themselves to break free from reality. When I read, write, watch movies,or listen to some real good music, I fall into my own little la la land. The hardest part is getting myself to come back. I can admit that being strong is healthy and refreshing for mental stability as a new start to a bad day. Rewind, relax, and enjoy How To: Escape Reality. Brought to you by me. My name is Jordan Ledyard, I am an Advertising and Public Relations student and this is my best advice to you.exhausting, and believe that nothing is as
