Gianna Taravella

21-year-old Gianna Taravella is a senior at the University of Tampa earning a degree in a double major: Communication and Advertising & Public Relations. She is a Tampa native, having grown up mostly in the Lutz area. She chose to attend The University of Tampa because of its immense history and urban location. Not only does love the abundant history of my school, she also appreciates the incredible things the city was built upon and has to offer. One of her part-time jobs is at a long time Tampa attraction, Busch Gardens. She has worked in their Operations, Merchandise and Entertainment departments in the last year and a half. Finding her home in this theme park and company has been an adventure all throughout her life. Her family would visit at least once a year, then in middle school her friend group would venture down there each weekend. She now currently works in the Entertainment department, providing an excellent and memorable experience for all who visit now and in the future. This theme park has a rich history and is a staple in the Tampa Bay area. She tries to involve herself in as much historical locations and learning as possible. She hopes to dig deep into the story of her hometown. As the kind of person who loves fun facts and has obvious roots in the Tampa Bay area, she is quite the history nerd about her hometown!
