Junior, Advertising & Public Relations
My journey as a functional college senior started with my indecisive nature as a pre-nursing student. I was sure that eighty-thousand dollars a year would satisfy the extensive workload that I was volunteering to take on as a nursing student. After spending more than 6 hours on multiple chemistry assignments, it hit me. Nursing is not for me. I scrambled to seek out a major that wouldn’t waste the knowledge I’d spent gathering credits for my baccalaureate degree. Advertising and Public relations with a general concentration is what I chose to major in right before starting my senior year. To this day, I am very proud of myself for selecting a major with the least course load of stress. I went from dying, to thriving. Labs just weren’t for me. I find myself so relieved when completing a 500 word paper in less than 20 minutes. Being a gemini, I am quite gifted at piecing words together in communication. I am glad to see myself evolve in decision making. I decided to keep my themes for blogs consistent with my own experiences in mental health and lifestyle. I feel as a writer, it is most beneficial for the reader to share such an intimate relation to text through the discussion of mental health.
