Learn how to fully send it independently

Full send to me means doing something just by simply doing it and not looking back on that decision. By fully sending something you are focused on what’s in front of you at that very moment and have no other distractions in mind. You may be trying something new for the first time that may be scary at first but if you “full send” it then you are taking it on, whatever it may be, 100% and living life with no regrets. This may look different for everyone but that is expected. Being independent in your full-send self is important to keeping in touch with who you truly are as a person and what separates you from everyone else. Anyone can do something at full send, but that doesn’t mean your full send should necessarily look identical to someone else’s full send.

For me, I have done some things at full send level but also wish I could live life with more “full send” mentality and not be anxious so much. My biggest full send example would have to be choosing to go to school so far away from home and starting in a new city where I didn’t know anyone or have any sort of connections at all. This is an example of fully sending it to me because I took a leap of faith that I would enjoy being here in Tampa and make friends easily and not be scared of a drastic change which I went through. I was lucky and fully sending it worked out in my favor because four years later I have been blessed with a great group of friends and a great deal of lifetime memories. One thing in the near future I hope to be full send about is finding a job. I know this may be a struggle and even the first job I have after college may be a struggle but I want to remind myself to keep this full send mentality all the way through. Remember to accept opportunities, even if they seem challenging, and even if you don’t know what you’re doing yet just learn it later. It’s better to accept a job or position and fail than to never know what could have been.

Full send doesn’t have to always apply to something so huge like a college decision in one’s lifetime however. Full send can be in the little things that happen in one’s every day routine. For example, I wish I could always remember this full send mentality and just wake up in the morning and do whatever I set my mind to. Oftentimes we get stuck in our own heads by small, negative thoughts that keep us from reaching our goals. It is time to start replacing those voices in our heads with productive, positive thoughts that encompass full send mentality.

It’s important to keep in mind these differences of really big decisions and small thoughts because both are equally important and can be faced head on with full send mentality. It doesn’t have to look the same for everyone and everyone’s definition can be different as to what full send means to them, but we can all do things at full send level and feel better about ourselves because of it. In fact, by finding your own sense of full send would be ideal as you can better understand yourself and what you need to be fully sending your life. Indeed, that is what Mr. Independent himself would want you to do.
