Full send everything you do

According to Urban Dictionary, the term ‘full send’ is defined as “going all out, not caring at all about the consequences” and “100% commitment to doing some heinous sh*t”. More commonly than not, college students use this term before taking part in questionable events. Those questionable events can include going into an exam without studying, deciding to take more shots of tequila even if you really shouldn’t, sending a text that could fully embarrass you, and the list goes on. Although risqué or detrimental consequences may come out of the decisions, all that matters is that you went into with everything you had in that moment. So maybe you did full send those tequila shots and woke up on the floor the next morning...at least you gave it all you had, right?

I define the term ‘full send’ similarly, except I don’t think consequences always have to come out of it. In fact, I think full sending can create more good than bad (depending on the situation, of course). Having a ‘full send’ mentality can actually help you get through certain events in life and come out better on the other side because of it. Nervous for a job interview? Full send. About to jump out of a plane to skydive? Full send. Hesitant to make a decision that scares you but you know it will be better for you in the end? Full send. Not everything you decide to fully commit to in life has to be “heinous sh*t”.

Coming from a very small town in New Hampshire, it was definitely a full send to decide to go to school all the way down in Tampa. I had originally started at a small school in Newport, RI, but I had finally gotten to the point of being tired of seeing the same people every day, never experiencing new, fun things, and being around small-minded people all the time. I knew I wanted to experience better and more exciting things, and what better place to do that than in Tampa? It was a huge decision to move 1,475 miles away from home, but it changed me for the better and I will always be eternally thankful that I did it.

Personally, I like to think I’ve always had a ‘full send’ mentality in the aspect of when I like something, I fully commit to it and invest everything I have into it. My passion for all things beauty is what led me to choose it as the topic for my blog. I dont just like beauty, I love beauty. I want to know all of the tips and tricks, all of the how-to’s, and all of the information on it. Opening up a new product or even going into beauty stores and being able to smell and touch the products excites me beyond belief. I’ve loved beauty products for as long as I can remember, and I will likely love them until the day I die.

At the end of the day, I think everyone should live their day-to-day lives with a full send mentality. We only have one life to live, so why not just go for it and give it all you have?
