If you're not doing things you desire to do and especially aren't doing it full send, what exactly are you waiting for?

As scary as it is we aren't ever promised a tomorrow so my best advice to anyone and everyone is to live every day as if it's your last. If you have a list of activities, trips or something you really want to buy.. work for it. Work towards those goals and aspirations you have because there may come a day where you look back and realize "I wish I worked harder to earn those things I wanted to do when I was younger." If you don't take any risks or chances in life you're missing out on a life full of new opportunities awaiting you. Accept new life experiences at full send. What does this mean you ask? It means don't just take on new experiences, but hit them head on with the most effort, energy, and passion you have.

The same phrase is used in hockey except they say "go big or go home" and in hockey terms this basically means because all of these players work hard every single day putting hours into the ice and scrimmages to project their dedication when the fans are watching, if you're not putting your 100% heart and soul into the game what are you playing for? This is an important note to live by as I feel it can apply to real-life situations as well such as an occupation, college, and relationships. Life is all about creating relationships and learning experiences and the same aspect goes for hockey and real life occupations, in order to preform well on the you have to know how to work with others and put the work into being the best version of yourself. The same motive goes for college educations as well and one of the most important words of motivation I personally live by every day is "In everything you do, do it with love and passion." I understand the scary reality of one day having a serious job and having to worry about financially supporting yourself and a family but what truly comes before any of that is your health and happiness. Money cannot buy a life time of happiness it's all just temporary so if you're able to find a good medium you're on the right track.

Whether it's hockey, college, or a job in everything you do give it 100% because I promise whether you receive your preferred results or not, it is still a life experience that grows you into a wiser person. Don't expect to take things on "full send" and see amazing results right away, nothing in life is ever easy and ever handed down to you sometimes it takes for you to feel at the lowest of the low until you're ready for changes to be made.

"The belief is there. We have to just go out and prove to ourselves that we're not ready to quit."quote by the Tampa Bay Lightning's captain, Steven Stamkos.

This exemplifies exactly what the topic of this post is, put yourself out there and wake up every morning excited for what's to come because I guarantee you that's the life you should be living every single day.
